It is with great honor and pleasure that I announce I’ve been selected as a Tech Field Day #7 Delegate, an event that will take place in Austin, TX on August 10/11.

We will meet four very interesting companies: Solarwinds (@SolarWinds_Inc), Symantec (@Symantec), Dell (@Dell_Storage) and Veeam (@Veeam). Dell looks like the main sponsor for the event and being in Austin we will likely visit the Round Rock HQ campus that is just a short drive away.

I would like to thank both Stephen Foskett and Matt Simmons for this event and for letting me be a delegate.

But what is Tech Field Day anyway? read it in their own words:

Our Field Day events bring together innovative IT product vendors and independent thought leaders to share information and opinions in a presentation and discussion format. Independent bloggers, freelance writers, and podcasters have a public presence that has immense influence on the ways that products and companies are perceived and by the general public.

As you can see it sounds like fun! 🙂

It will be a pleasure to be amongst a such wonderful bunch of gifted technical folks, here’s the delegates list, I’m sure you will recognize most of the names:
