Last week TECHunplugged Chicago registered another great success, and I’m very pleased about it. The sessions presented by influencers and vendors were amazingly good, and the open panels were extremely useful and interactive. Chicagoans loved it! But don’t trust my word, all the videos are online and I’m sure you’ll enjoy them as much as we did!

A special thanks goes to the vendors who helped us to make this event special for end users. Primary Data, Pure Storage and Veeam sponsored the event but it’s the value they brought with the quality of their speeches, always informative and educative, that made the difference.

What’s up next?

Chicago was the last physical event of the year and we are already working on the 2017 editions. Our classic events, London and Amsterdam, will be joined again by Chicago and another City in the US. (any suggestions for the second US city will be more than welcome!)

First TECHunplugged Live

netapp-insightBut 2016 hasn’t come to an end! We are organizing our first virtual event. Thanks to NetApp, it will be streamed live from NetApp Insight in Berlin on November 14 – 16, 2016. I’ll be joined on stage by end users, vendors, influencers and NetApp execs for interviews, tech sessions and roundtables on cloud computing, data storage and next generation IT infrastructures.

You can follow us live on and as well as on Twitter with the hashtags #NetAppInsight and #TECHunplugged. And, don’t worry, if you won’t be able to attend the live sessions, we will upload all the content on our Youtube channel too!

2017 is around the corner

As mentioned earlier, we are working to make TECHunplugged even better in 2017. We’re always looking for new influencers to cover as many topics as we can for each single day and boost the conversation beyond the event day itself.

Field conferences will be joined by virtual events, informative webinars and maybe more. I can’t spill all the beans yet, but we are also working to significantly improve our newsletter and we will also be constantly adding more content to our website. Stay tuned!!!

Closing the circle

Any comments and suggestions on how to improve TECHunplugged are welcome. Topics, locations, influencers you’d like to see at the event… everything is of help, don’t hesitate to contact me or Arjan if you have an idea to share.

If you are a vendor and want to know more about the 2017 events don’t hesitate to contact us, we will be more than happy to share our plans for the following year.

And, last but not least, thank you everyone for the love and the appreciation messages.
